Responsibilities:responsible for research of international trade and economic activities; hold seminars concerning international economic and trade situation and international market; actively carry out foreign exchange liaison work, establish and develop friendly cooperation with overseas trade associations and economic and trade groups; arrange procedures for setting up representative institutions and offices on foreign enterprises’ behalf in Ningbo; responsible for inviting and receiving business people and representatives of overseas group of economy and trade for investigation and visit in Ningbo; organize municipal economy and trade delegations and business delegations for overseas investigation and visit, and economic and trade talks; engage in foreign investment and promotion activities based on the planning, scale, direction and industry orientation of the foreign investment in the city; undertake economy & trade and technique exchange conferences and talks held in Ningbo by domestic or overseas institutions. Responsible for the approval, guidance, coordination for CCPIT branches and county-level Chamber of Commerce, organize business exchanges of the branches; responsible for the development, management and services of the municipal membership units; hold or organize foreign trade-related training programs, seminars, business investigations, business negotiations, and technology exchange activities for various membership units; responsible for daily work of the standing council for the municipal Chamber of International Commerce.
