China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Ningbo Sub-Council (China Chamber of International Commerce Ningbo Chamber of Commerce) (CCPIT) is a the citywide non-governmental organizations of foreign trade and economic cooperation, composed of individuals, enterprises, associations and groups from economic and trade circle of Ningbo, its management system is:
(1) According to the principles and policies and work arrangements of foreign trade, foreign investment, foreign economic and foreign affairs of the municipal party committee and government, it carries out the contact work with the world and the economy and trade area of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions, chambers of commerce and associations and other trade groups and relevant international organizations. It develops economy and trade exchanges and cooperation with sister cities. It signs agreements for technological exchanges and cooperation with overseas organizations and participate in its activities.
(2) Invite and receive foreign trade, business delegations and business people to visit the economic and trade organizations. Organize chambers of commerce, business delegation and business people to visit and study abroad. Help the municipal government organize trade negotiations, investment and other forms of economic and trade exchanges and cooperation activities for promotion.
(3) Carry out collection, collation, transmission and distribution work for the information of domestic and foreign economic and trade. Establish network for the information of domestic and foreign economic and trade. Introduce economic and technical cooperation and service partners to domestic and foreign enterprises and institutions. Provide trade opportunities, information consultation and, consulting service of domestic and foreign companies and enterprises.
(4) According to the authority under the municipal government, coordinate the management of the city's overseas trade exhibitions. Develop relationships with organizations of exposition (exhibition) of other countries and regions. Hold exhibitions and negotiations of the city in foreign countries, organize participation in international fairs and specialized exhibitions. Receive and undertake the overseas economic and trade exhibitions, expositions, new product sample, display for samples held in Ningbo. Receive and undertake economic and trade fair, technology trade exchanges and the various types of economic and trade seminar of outside agencies and enterprises.
(5) Issue certificates of origin for Chinese export products; issue certificates of force majeure; authenticate international trade documents; conduct certificates for international commercial; process the issue of A team document (temporarily imported document copies for goods) on your behalf; process consular certification services and product quality certification services on your behalf; accept dispute mediation of foreign trade (Marine); accept the agency for international economy and trade and maritime arbitration and litigation services; process trademark registration and patent applications for city enterprises at abroad and foreign companies and individuals’ application; handle business of intellectual property counseling, mediation and technical trading.
(6) Approve the establishment of the county (city), the district CCPIT (ICC) and municipal industry branch of CCPIT (ICC) agencies, and coordinate operational guidance; develop and manage members in the whole city; carry out services and training for the members in the branch institutions.
(7) Accept entrustment of overseas enterprises, organizations, arrange reporting procedures for establishing offices or agents on your behalf, and make the appropriate services.
(8) Actively develop and promote the development of foreign trade, foreign investment, foreign economic operations and service trade, conduct enterprises directly under the committee, improve services, strengthen the economic strength, provide better service for member companies, make contributions to the economic development.
(9) Processing procedures for other matters authorized by the municipal government
