In 2005 City Competitiveness Blue Print issued by Chinese Academy of Science and Technology, As the 2nd largest port city in China famous at home and abroad, Ningbo’s comprehensive competitiveness ranked the 6th among 200 cities in China. Three years study of city comprehensive competitiveness organized by Chinese Academy of Science and Technology show that Ningbo has made progress in the past three years and move to the 10th in 2003, 8th in 2004 and 6th in 2005.
