Gu Zhengwei, male, born in May 1962 in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. Graduated from Zhejiang Agricultural University, majored in agriculture. Bachelor degree. In June 1985 joined the Communist Party of China (CPC). Successively held the posts of Township Government Cadre of Jiangbei District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. Township Service Manager of Agricultural. Member of CPC. Member of Cadre Section of Organization Department of Jiangbei District Committee, Office Director, Deputy Director of the Office of Jiangbei District Party Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of Beilun District Party Committee, Ministers of Organization Department. In February 2004 Secretary of the Work Committee of Ningbo Municipal Party Committee of Foreign Economy and Trade, Deputy Secretary of the Work Committee for Discipline Inspection. In January 2009 President of CCPIT Ningbo and Vice Secretary of Party Group.
