Who We Are- What We Do

ABA-Invest in Austria the national investment promotion company, is the first point of contact for foreign companies aiming to establish their own business in Austria. We are owned and operated by the Republic of Austrian Government, and report directly to the Austrian Ministry of Economy, Family and Youth.

The services provided by the ABA-Invest in Austria are free of charge. We provide professional consulting services to firms interested in setting up business operations in Austria, focusing on all issues relevant to selecting an appropriate location. In addition, we provide detailed information about Austria as a business location, and proactively approach potential investors. Our “Location Austria” team promotes Austria as an optimal hub for international film productions, offering advisory services on selecting suitable film locations.

A staff of around 25 employees working out of the company’s headquarters in Vienna handles projects from Europe, USA, Canada and Asia. ABA-Invest in Austria also operates offices in New York, Tokyo and Shanghai, which are responsible for the American, Japanese and Chinese markets.

The team of ABA-Invest in Austria offers international investors tailor-made information, support and consulting services in the following areas:

·        Identification and selection of appropriate sites, office locations and commercial properties

·        All issues pertaining to company starts-ups, and practical support in the initial phases
